Winning the lottery is certainly a life changer when you suddenly receive millions of pounds into your account, but for some it can just fuel an already addiction with what seems to be endless amounts of cash to your disposal. Unfortunately for some that cash soon ran out before they could say winner.
Take a look at our top 10 unluckiest lottery winners of all time.
#10 Michael Carroll
Michael won over £10million ($15million) on the UK national lottery and, unlike most other winners on this list, he made the sensible decision to immediately invest £4million in a bond. After blowing the remainder of his money on partying, he made the stupid decision to withdraw the money from the bond before the end of the term, which resulted in significant withdrawl fees, causing him to receive a lot less money than he put in. He carried on partying until the money was gone. He now works in a biscuit factory, earning minimum wage.
